Labor’s climate policy needs more clarity | Australian Chamber CEO James Pearson
CEO of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry James Pearson says Labor needs to give Australian businesses a better understanding of how its climate policy will lower power prices.
Labor has announced plans to cut emissions by 45 per cent by 2030 and to reach a 50 per cent renewable energy target by 2050. Mr Pearson says small businesses are hit hardest by rising power prices, and they deserve more information from the Opposition as to how it plans to help.
